CelluComp is demonstrating the capability to apply Curran® on fibre as a functional bio-barrier.

After dilution Curran® can be transformed into a cohesive, pin hole free film. This film can be formed on top of a paper web. In doing so, the paper is effectively sealed off. 

This sealed surface has impressive smoothness characteristics with demonstrated examples of 50% improvement in Sheffield testing. Curran® as a bio-layer on paper also delivers grease barrier, some oxygen barrier, and significantly slows the absorption of water.
