Reef® is an aqueous barrier coating enabled by Curran® that is designed to deliver grease, water, and especially water- vapour barrier. It is heat sealable and can be used as a tie-layer adhesive for paper-to-paper bonding. Reef® is recyclable and repulpable when applied to paper.
REEF® is available in a variety of formulas that add specific performance enhancements depending on the particular substrate being treated and the characteristics, such as barrier properties, strength, and heat-sealability, that are required for particular applications.
