Christian Kemp-Griffin
CEO
Christian is an early investor in CelluComp and is now executive director and CEO. Prior to CelluComp, Christian held the position of CEO at EDUN, a company developing socially responsible and sustainable clothing and owned, in part, by LVMH . Christian has direct experience working with farmers and producing and marketing finished products. Christian has also held senior management positions with Ralph Lauren, Lacoste (Directeur Générale) and Disney Consumer Products (European Licensing Director) and has extensive experience in product development, manufacturing, marketing and licensing. Christian graduated from Princeton University.
Dr. Eric Whale
Founder and Head of Technology
Eric is a Chartered Scientist, an MBA graduate (Henley), has a Doctorate in the Synthesis and Characterisation of Liquid Crystal Polymers from the University of Reading and is a member of the Royal Chemistry Society. Eric held Postdoctoral Research Fellowships at the University of Reading in the Centre for Polymer Science (Optical switching) and the Centre for Biomimetics (Mutable Collagen), before joining DERA as a Senior Scientist. Eric has also worked as an independent consultant and has run CelluComp from the beginning, along with Dr David Hepworth.
Dr. David Hepworth
David is an engineer who has carried out extensive work in moulding bio-composite materials and has published many articles in this subject, including in the Royal Society of London. David studied for his undergraduate degree in Zoology at the University of Reading where he received 1st class honors. He later received his PhD from the University of Reading where he specialised in the Biomechanics of Genetically Modified Plant tissues. Along with Eric, David has managed and operated the CelluComp business from the beginning.

John Sinclair

John is a private investor and was previously VP of research for Fidelity Management and Research Co. While there he led a research team responsible for the strategic direction and priorities of FMR research and spent much of his time investing in India. Prior to that, John worked as a senior equity analyst and director of research for Pioneer Asset Management, Boston. John also held the same job at MA. Montgomery Asset Management based in San Francisco. John completed a Graduate School of International and Public Affairs degree at Columbia University in New York, and did his undergraduate degree at Colgate University. John speaks fluent Japanese and has lived several years in Japan.

Ed Stevens is a serial entrepreneur, investor, and board member. He is the Founder & CEO of Scoot. Scoot is a next-generation platform for doing business live. Higher-quality interactions, rich conversational intelligence, and human+AI augmentation deliver better outcomes for both buyers and sellers at all stages of the customer journey. Ed is the Executive Chairman of DemandQ.ai. DemandQ provides AI-powered software that reduces demand (kW) during peak energy periods. Additionally, Ed serves on the board and is a member of the audit committee at Johnson Outdoors, a publicly-traded sporting goods business.

Andrea Pereira is a global business leader and leadership catalyst with more than three decades of experience driving transformation, strategy, and sustainable growth. A former senior executive at The Coca-Cola Company, she served as Chairwoman of Jugos del Valle and Santa Clara, leading complex organizations and building high-performing, purpose-driven teams.
Today, Andrea blends her expertise in neuroscience, emotional intelligence, and strategic vision to nurture conscious, sustainable leadership. She works as Facilitator, Mentor and NeuroBrain Coach, supporting leaders and organizations in unlocking clarity, connection, and purpose at the intersection of science, soul, and strategy

Michael Cragg
Board of Directors
Michael Cragg is a principal and former Chairman of The Brattle Group which is an international economic consulting firm with 500 employees in 13 offices in North America, Europe, Chin and Australia. He is an expert witness who regularly testifies on economic and financial issues in antitrust, tax and securities cases. Dr. Cragg began his career as a Professor of Economics at Columbia University and the UCLA Andersen School of Management. He was also a consultant at RAND, and a Senior Economist in the Capital Markets Section of the Milken Institute. His research has been sponsored by a range of institutions and foundations including the NSF and NIH. Aside from being a director of The Brattle Group, he is also a director of DemandQ which is an integrated SaaS company that provides electricity demand management.

Chris Plotz
President USA
Chris Plotz is a strategic and innovative leader with over 20 years of experience advancing global growth, sustainability, and technology development in the materials and packaging industries. He currently serves as President, North America for CelluComp, where he leads operations, strategic expansion, and the development of a new North American facility focused on sustainable packaging solutions. Throughout his career, Chris has held leadership roles at Minifibers, INDA, Parker Hannifin, ITW Professional Brands, and other organizations, consistently delivering results in global product development, business transformation, and market expansion. He is a patent holder with five U.S. patents, a published author of over 25 technical articles, and a recognized industry spokesperson. Chris holds a Master of Textiles from North Carolina State University, an MBA from Rockhurst University, and a Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin–Stout. He is also a Six Sigma Master Black Belt.
Doug Kretchmer
US Team
Doug Kretchmer specializes in the identification, development and commercialization of disruptive technologies, working on behalf of global industry leaders seeking strategic growth opportunities, IP owners seeking commercialization partners, and Private Equity firms seeking industry-transforming acquisitions. A former international marketing executive and general manager for B2B and B2C multinationals, Doug founded The Green Edge in 1993, a strategic marketing firm serving a global clientele with strategic planning, market research, product development, communications, and M&A with a strong focus on dispensing systems, packaging and industrial equipment. Headquartered in Minneapolis, Doug is an investor and serves on the boards of several US and European privately held companies, including CelluComp PBC.
Gary Robinson

Gary Robinson is CelluComp’s Chief Revenue Officer leading global business development. Gary is a recognized leader in advancing Sustainability for consumer goods. His professional experiences include major brands, retailers, and packaging providers such as Kraft Foods, The Home Depot, Newell Rubbermaid, and Billerud. Gary brings a comprehensive perspective to CelluComp with functional experience in global supply chain development, procurement, quality assurance, marketing, purchasing, R&D, new product development, and public affairs. These experiences will help our customers and CelluComp collaborate to drive compelling innovations for market adoption. Gary can be frequently found volunteering in the community and in a variety of leadership boards and committees.
